Dr. Hartmann grew up on a farm in Yakima, Washington. She knew by age 8 she would be a veterinarian — after bottle-feeding an orphaned lamb through the night and watching it thrive.
She graduated from Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and completed advanced training in small animal surgery and exotic animal medicine. She founded Northshore Vet Clinic in Kirkland 15 years ago with one goal: treat every patient like family.
